Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program

Our TNR projects are an essential part of controlling the stray cat population in Dahab. The program involves caring individuals from the community who help trap feral and free-roaming cats so they can be spayed or neutered, and then returned to their familiar environment to live out their natural lives in peace.
We often receive requests from veterinarians, both graduates and students in training, who wish to volunteer with us in Dahab. We arrange their full stay and provide them with the opportunity to use their skills and expertise by participating in the neuter program at the local veterinary clinic.
Last week, we were lucky to host a very sweet and dedicated volunteer from The Netherlands, Simone. In just five days, she successfully spayed and neutered 30 cats. We are deeply grateful for her incredible effort. Thanks to veterinarians like Simone, who generously offer their time and knowledge free of charge, we are able to keep the cat population under control, prevent unnecessary suffering of kittens, and reduce fights among street cats.
